Wonder if it would be possible for a dozen of us, or so, could pay someone to make the script needed for photopost and http://raidersoft.com/???That is about the only thing stopping me from converting to version 7 I know SMF has stuff to integrate and converters but I would rather stay with UBB for my main forum... Thoughts or votes any one??

I'd think the guys at photopost would update their integration, wouldn't they?

I thought Chuck did the Photopost one. He is the guy to ask over at http://www.photopost.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=61I do not use raidersoft, so cannot comment - but I can't see it being too difficult - is it just a template system similar to the one I use for jpilot? Bear in mind that there are many sites that use these products and also ubbthreads, and so there will be a demand - and of course PP publicise the compatability with ubbthreads on their main pages. Whilst Infopop do not and will not support these other packages, it would be within their interest to work with third parties to encourage existing users to upgrade to 7.x rather than going elsehere.

If necessary when 7.0 is done I'll write the integration script myself. I would imagine that you could work off the old one. I'll talk with Chuck and see what the best route is.

I too am VERY interested in a PhotoPost integration. I was waiting to move my new but growing site to a host that had a database so that I could upgrade to UBB Threads. Now, with version 7 in development I decided to wait to make the move to UBB Threads but I purchased PhotoPost anyway. I don't mind the separate registration but a common registration and database would be the ultimate goal. Short version: There are others that are interested in PhotoPost integration.

I've been working with Chuck from photopost on this. I think things are going pretty well so hopefully this will be finished by the time 7.0 is finished

I would like to integrate photopost into my site. I will keep my eyes out for when this integration is fixed. Rick you might want to make your own version of it and make it part of the boards.. seperate module sold etc. It would start getting you back to your organizations original vision of providing a complete community solution.

Rick, you rule! I will continue to be a UBB customer for sure. I received technical assistance from Chuck when I installed PhotoPost - the man definitely knows his product. Thank you for taking the time to work on this.

I have been asking this question at the PhotoPost forum and I asked the "when" question. According to Chuck S.: "PhotoPost 5.5 supports UBB7" which is not yet available. This means people like myself can stop being a pain in the arse and know that when we see it, we'll see it! This is good news, no?
