What steps do I have to go through to move a threads forum to a new server?

I assume it's just changing the absolute URL's right?

Yes, you'll need to make sure paths and urls are correct in main.inc.php and config.inc.php.

Then move all your files over, then your database. Instructions for moving your database are found here.
