If I made a posting using HTML and table tags in my posting I get a large blank space above my table. You can look here for the result of my try.

I cannot find out why this happend. Any clue ?

as I can read here it is a bug. I remove every tabs, spaces and line breakes in my code, mode the whole article in one line and it work. Strange effekt.

Can this be lookd in for the 6.5 release ?

Not an easy way to fix this since carriage returns are converted into br tags when typing a post for formatting. When those carriage returns end up between <table><tr><td> tags it puts a break tag in between them which gets rendered by the browser which puts all of the blank spaces.

not 100% related, but there has been this screwing of html posts going on for as long time as I've used the board.

say, if one selects make post using html, what is so hard to understand there?
why it must be screwed up?

another, posting html (with making changes to it for the board not to screw it) you get already far.
but hey, TRY TO EDIT IT.

you can't edit html post or the board screws it up for good.
