I am upgrading from 6.4.2 to 6.5 and I uploaded all files and followed instructions and during the upgrade procedure it tells me this:

I didn't have that here, but I suspect that I know the problem. Give me a minute and I'll post something that should fix you up.

I had that problem too. UBBCentral was closed for a while - so I figured you had it too. Couldn't find the exact cause though.

Ended up having to just work around the check:

Try this file I've zipped up and attached for you, just overwrite the existing one in your install directory.

I did what you suggested at ThreadsDev Josh and it worked, but my connection must have timed out during the process right after updating the language files. Now all I get is a blank white screen when I go back to the upgrading page... Any ideas?

I overwrote the file you attached in my dir David, but still cant see if it works b/c of the blank screen.

RANCH, reupload your language files. You must have one that's busted, due to the timeout.

That workaround is OK, Josh, ONLY if you are very sure you have your files right as it bypasses all checking.

Yeah, I issued that warning. Only because 4x4 was stuck mid upgrade and this site was down for update. I have the server restarted.. Now I get this error when running the upgrade:

Hrm.... error 28 is typically "no space left on device".

How is your disk space for the account - the drive might be out of room or your account might be over quota - so when the upgrade is trying to write the information, it's bombing out.
