Can any of these items be address, or is there soemthing I missed:

* Message tracking is now done per system/user, not on a user only. IE when they change computers their status is no longer effective.
* Past 24 hours/48 etc is limited to 200. What about the boards where that is filled in 6 hours?
* Some users getting a message about cookies being too large.

Thanks for any suggestions on resolving these issues.

VW - hope this clears some of it up.

1. User tracking is now cookie-based, but a bit borked. 6.5.1 should fix it.

2. Without looking at this, you would probably need to hard-code a change to get the LIMIT 200 out of there.

3. See #1 - logging out and back in should resolve the cookie issue temporarily.

By your comment of #1, does this mean we've taken a step back and users will no longer their last read markers stored in the database and now their markers will always be different as they go back and forth from computer to computer

On 3 I see I can change that on the search engine, but will probably need to hack it if I just want active topics to be able to do that.

Their last visit to each forum is still stored in the db, so it will be fine going from computer to computer. It's just that in 6.5 there are some issues with the post tracking feature.

Sounds like 6.5.1 will be the holy grail....Once it gets here..
