Hi
Trying to import data from phpBB.
My files are in the correct yaml format. The import process seems to run okay, reporting its progress. When it completes I log back into my BB but nothing is there. No users, no forums nothing.

Does the import create a log file of what its doing, and where import errors are written??

Which version phpbb are you importing from?

Hosted by readybb, so they're using phpbb2 plus 1.51
I'm having to manually generate the CSV files using SQLyog and MySQL installed on my laptop.
Generating them to the format in the phpbb YAML spec for 2.0.8

can you submit a ticket so that we can take a look for you? We've done quite a few phpbb imports with no real problems. perhaps we can help.

Have now resolved the issues (with the help from your support team).
I think the underlying issue was with the post_texts file - i had rogue CR/LF characters which were causing the import to fail.

I used my local install of my legacy BB to extract and reformat the CSV files to make sure they fully complied with the yaml formats. This included running corrective scripts against the raw data to remove rogue characters.
