Hi all
I have successfully run an import of data from phpbb into my ubbthreads board and have gone through to verify the data to sign-off my migration.
I am now happy with this and so want to perform the final cut over from my old board to the new one, thus would like to perform the migration again, but this time with my latest (and last) extract from phpbb.
Simple question: Which tables to I need to clear down in ubbthreads prior to migrating data over (as I dont want to end up with duplicate posts, users etc).

You would probably be best off simply dropping the existing tables and performing a new install.

I'll give it a try (taking a suitable backup first!)

You can also use the following queries to clear the appropriate tables before trying the import again.:

DELETE FROM w3t_Users WHERE U_Number > 2

DELETE FROM w3t_Posts

DELETE FROM w3t_Boards

DELETE FROM w3t_Category

(Be sure to replace w3t_ with the appropriate table prefix if yours is different.)
