The enable box for spider friendly URL's mentions something about PATH_INFO environment variable.

How do i check to see if this is set, and if its not, how do i go about setting it??

In the CP click DB, Paths & URLs and then click on Paths & URLs.

I was worried I would have to play about with my ENV settings on the server! However, all the relevant fields have been completed with the correct paths.
