UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Sessions, cookies and other login quirks

This raises its ugly head again for me...

I frequent several forums that run ubb.threads, and I also have my own forum that i config and manage, also using ubb.threads.
Why is it that my forum requires i have the URL's added to my IE 'Trusted Sites' zone in order for log in to work, where as the other sites that i frequent do not?

If i remove my urls from the trust sites zone, when i try to log into my board i get the 'Username/Password not found' error. If I add them back in then I can log in with no problems.

Are there any configuration parameters that need to be tweaked?

It sounds like firewall issue - you have the referrer check turned on for your forum, the others you frequent have it turned off.

Nope, dont seem to work.

I have "Disable HTTP referer check" checked, and still get the login issues if my url is not in the trust sites zone.

Any other clues? Anyone?
