we currently using UBB-Classic. At the Member Area I can not find an importer from Classic to Threads 6.5.2 ... where can I find it?

An other question is, will there other languages avaiable at UBB-Threads 7.0?

.threads 7 will ship with english, but will support multiple language files. Translation of the language files will be needed however.

As for importing from .classic to .threads, there are a couple of options. I'll try and get some detailed information for you on the process today.

Rick, I am also a classic board admin and am interested in finding this information, so thank you for taking the time to point us in the right direction.

I must admit that because of the extreme (and very frustrating) year + long delay in getting the new product out, I am in the position of looking at alternatives. I sort of feel "screwed" by Groupee, and my confidence in their abilities to continue to support a product like this has been eroded to just about nothing.

That being said, I have enjoyed their software and their tech staff has always been very good and responsive. So I want to stay...and I guess threads is my option at this point. I have heard that the software is pretty buggy and there are many frustrated users right now of Threads. Rick is there any chance you could address that issue? Is it stable? If not will the new upgrade (if it ever actually does happen) address those problems?

Sorry to be negative, but I have a forum that I need to maintain, and Groupee is making it very difficult to continue using their software. This big Threads upgrade is sort of my last, fleeting, faint hope of being able to stick with them...I'm looking for a glimmer of hope if you can offer any.

There is an export function built into .classic, and an importer built into .threads, both right in the control panel. Instructios for use are in the admin guides.
