UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Strange ubbimport result

I have run ubbimport to transfer posts from Classic to Threads. It all went fine accept that just one topic became 3 identical topics with 3 different topic starters (all 3 topics are identical to a t otherwise) and these three topics exist in all forums including the one they were created in and they are all at the top. If I delete 1 topic they all dissapear from everywhere.

Has anyone experienced similar problem?

It sounds like someone these posts are being imported as global announcements. Anything special about these posts within classic?

It was nothing special, thats why it is strange. I have checked the database and I could not find anything wrong, the B_Sticky was 0 on every post in the thread and B_Topic was 0 except the initial post which was 1. I tried making it sticky or global announcement and then unstick it, it made 4th copy. I made a test forum and moved one of the 4 threads to it, all 4 copied instead. I finally deleted the thread completely, well I lost a topic, but everything seems to work fine after that.

If you are importing users and posts from your Classic, when running newuser.php after installation prior to importing the old forum, try to avoid creating an account with same login name and public name you had in the old forum.

Thanks for the update on how this was resolved. Another thing I'll need to look at when updating the importer for version 7.
