Recently installed v.6.04 inside our company firewall... everything is working well, but we'd like to modify the way the Today's Active Topics feature works.

Can it be modified to show posts within the last 24 or 36 hours as opposed to showing posts matching today's date?

If the answer is to modify a template file, which one? I'm not a programmer, but am willing to try if it's not too difficult.

In theory yes, but I have a feeling it would require alot of modification of several files..

I am curious after looking at the vars_active_topics.cgi file..

what is atnum => "25",

Charles, Nav, is this a timer?

Without looking, my guess is the 25 is a maximum per page.

Changing the timing on the active topics feature isn't quite as simple as that since the relevant date is in the data file name. So you'd need to move around that..

Edit: are you sure that isn't part of a hack - the filename doesn't even look familiar...

Graeme
