There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the way "Today's Topics" gets sorted. Lemme guess - in order of last post? At minimum, it should be sorted based on Forum name.

This issue is my second biggest source of user complaints.

How can I change the sorting key?

Suggestion for future: Allow control panel to determine sort criteria for Today's Topics.

Yes, they're sorted by latest post. Personally, I find it useful since I can tell if there are any new posts since my last run through the boards (if it wasn't too far in the past)..
