Do you think it is safe to install the Beta of 6.7 on a working board? I am excited about the improvements but don't want to take any chances. Any comments from those who have already installed it? Should I do it, or wait?
With all Beta software there is always a risk of something not working as expected. I agree with Ron that you should run a backup first but I doubt you'll run into any major problems.
I completely replaced one of my boards running 6.6.1 to 6.7 BR1... It's fairly stable, I had a little problem but it got sorted out (with the spider addon), works perfectly.
Believe me, 6.7 has been beaten up before the beta was released to the Member's Area.

Considering the sheer number of new features, I'm quite pleased at the comparatively low bug rate for 6.7. If things continue to go this well, we'll be able to do an on-time final release for the first time in a while. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
So go ahead and install it. There shouldn't be any problems... and if there are... well, it's better to get them fixed now rather than later. %)
Charles, have you considered getting a new avatar with... you smiling? you always (well it's no like the pic changes) look half asleep and bored in your pic.
