Hi all, I've searched, read the admin guide and wandered around my control panel endlessly.
I give up <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Can anyone tell me where I can change the default email address for the report post so that the moderator does NOT receive it but a specified admin does?
We actually use the report post to nominate 'a most helpful post this month' and the nominations are driving my mods crazy.
Thanks v much.

Report a Post is designed to send mail to the moderators and admin's; the only way to do this is to remove your moderators of the forums.

WOW can't do that it's a huge and very busy board and it affects every forum - that would mean removing 30+mods.
No other option???
I read that it is the default - but that usually means we have the option to change it? Any other ideas please?

You could possibly talk to someone at www.ubbdev.com and see if they can't create a hack. Remember, if you have a problem with your board, you would need to restore stock scripts to get support from Infopop.

Well the official feature is there to report abusive posts or those which violate the rules of a board; hence why it is there to message all staff who can maintain said section.
UBBDev will be the best bet for you to get a modification created; however as Ron said if you need support from infopop you'll need to restore your site to stock code.

You could give this a shot.. in the file ubb_lib_misc.cgi, find my $modmails = &build_mod_emails($in{f}); on the next line add That will make it only send an email to the address you have set for the forum

Hey many, many thanks Ian.
Will that affect the normal mod notifications of new posts (not a problem) just wondering?

that line was in the "report_a_post" sub, so it only affects reporting posts
