On an attempt to send a private message it gives this:
open | -t -oi: No such file or directory at /www/p/a/patriotsmovie.com/cgi-bin/ubb_lib_mail.cgi line 39
I'm not a programmer, but I guess I can get into a file (with a notepad <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )
Please help!

I would verify that your Email Settings are properly configured in your control panel.

thank you for the reply. but I don't see anything that I can change in the email settings that can affect a private messeges. Please help

If your email settings are incorrectly configured, it will cause problems when a new PM is sent. ubb_lib_mail.cgi contains the email routines for the UBB.

I got that, but how should I configure it, there's not much to configure... Please help.

I would suggest putting in a support ticket, so that we can take a look at your board. Sometimes it's hard to troubleshoot without being able to see the files in question. Thanks!
