Have you reviewed the Transfer Guide found at https://www.ubbcentral.com/support/docs/ubbclassic/UBB6_backup_transfer.html If you do not feel comfortable moving your boards, you could see if another admin would be willing to be hired, or you could hire Infopop to move it for you.

Just tar the noncgi directory and keep it as a backup then follow the transfer guide; easiest way to move <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ... Or you can hire someone to do it for you.

Gizzy, if you just do the noncgi, you will miss the members and config/wordlets unless they reside in noncgi also <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hey, he said he was more worried about preserving content not users <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ... I was just showing that he'll wanna backup his so many years of content first hehe....
But a complete backup will include: CGI-BIN Non-CGI Members Directory
and if your variables are stored seperately from your cgi-bin you'll want to backup that as well.
