I am trying to much avail to place ads within my thriving online community which is based on ultimate BB ver 6.5
I have my adsense code from google, which is pretty simple. Here it is exactly. I'm not worried about giving it out unless you want to put ads on your site for me for free.. lol. feel free to!
<script type="text/javascript">< !--
google_ad_client = "pub-5870389490967515";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 90;
google_ad_format = "728x90_as";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = "333366";
google_color_bg = "535372";
google_color_link = "FFFFFF";
google_color_url = "CC66FF";
google_color_text = "CCCCFF";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
Now here are my boards:
http://www.blackout.com/blackout/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi As you can see right now.. the only place I could get the ads to work is as a header or footer, which is ugly as hell!
I want the ads to be directly under my logo, or even better, in the space bewteen the Hello user...info, and "Welcome to newest blackout's box member _______", and then the begining of the Forum listings... howevere, when I place the code in that box through my control panel, I get nothing, nothing shows up. Does UBB not allow scrip codes? Whats the deal?
For instance:
http://www.blackout.com/blackout/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=1 That is my Main Lounge general discussion forum which gets a lot of traffic,
Underneath my description text "Welcome to the main lounge!! Chill out and meet some friends... you're in the box now. "
I would like the google adsense bar to appear. But going to the appropriate style setting and forum and putting the code there does NOTHING.
I would also like the google as sense bar to appear in every thread. between the Hello, username, and the Bulletin Board where you are at bar, and the start of the actual thread with the subject of the thread bar.
Basically I would like the google adsense bar to appear right above the "UBBFriend: Email this page to someone!" link, but I cannot figure out for the LIFE of me how to do it.
Your help is greatly appreciated! Please e-mail me too if you can as I might forget to check this board since smetimes it takes long time to get a response here.
Thanks,
