Just bought ubb not to long ago. And i followed everything in the faqs. But now when i try to use the general settings. Or anything else its says address not their. Did i do something wrong? And also i can't seem to change chmods one by one. When i change one thing at 755. They all change.

Regarding the problem with General Settings, what is the URL to your control panel?

By the permissions problem, you are most likely using WS_FTP. In WS_FTP, the permissions screen shows the last permission used, not the current one. To view the current permissions, click the DirInfo button. You might need to refresh the directory listing in order to see the new permissions.

The BASE HREF in cplinks.html is incorrect. Your domain is missing the .com at the end of it.

When going to the correct URL another error occurs. The 4 variable files are not in the cgi directory. Upload the 4 variable files to the cgi directory in ascii and set them with 777 permissions.

one more question what are the default user and password codes. I think i maybe typing the wrong ones.

As specified in the installation instructions, the default user/pass is;

Username: Admin5
Password: 4tugboat

It is case sensitive.

oh ok i made a mistake by 1 letter

Ok i have a issue because i deleted the default name from the board. That was a big mistake because it locked me out. So i figured ok my fault i'll have to do it over. Now though when i finish my general setting and i hit submit i get a page not found screen. What can i do to fix it
