One of my user's changes their E-mail address and now they get "password is incorrect" when they try to post.

My first thought was to backup the Members directory, then run The Member rebuild tool in the cp.htm under Misc/Debugging.

What do you think? Has anyone had any trouble after using the debugging tool. To be quite honest with you this is the first problem I have had and I would hate to create a disaster here.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You have stumbled upon a security feature of the UBB. The user names are email based, so if the email address gets changed, a new, random password is automatically emailed to the new address. Upon recieving this new password, the user can feel free to change it to whatever he/she wants.
