UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 5 Support New Topic Form

How do I get the message icons, instant UBB code options to appear on my post new topic form like offering within this forum. vs. the user having to know that eek icon needs to be enter as

Also can I allow use of posting icons for a particular forum only vs. entire site?

This board is UBB Version 6 which has the UBB codes on the posting form. UBB5 requires code modification (hacking). You may be able to find a control panel hack at www.ubbdev.com. Hacks are not supported by Infopop, but there is a support forum at ubbdev.

Custom posting icons would also require a hack.

Added: To enter  so that it does not call up the smiley, use the numbered entity of : instead of the first colon.
