Im Running NT4 SERVER with IIS4 installed + With the perl addon.
Ok this is the poroblem.
I can get the cgi script to run no problem untill i get to the general settingarea. I use the standard usernam and password and it sets it up fine. but when i get to the thread update area it then comes up with unkown username and password. When i go back to settings again i still get the same problem. Strange but when i look in the members folder it has updated it and placed the admin5 account into the oldmembers folder.
But under currentusers the account is there. If i add another admin account by cheating and editing the script all is fine untill i get to te thread area again then it cant find the username and password???
It does seem to me to be a varible problem but i have no i dea where the variable is that is mean to carry that problem across.
Please help me this is driving me nuts ive been trying to sort this out for three days now
