Having a small problem with my Unix UBB installation. When I first open up the control panel and click General Settings, I'm receiving this error:
Error including the required files:
Be sure you uploaded UltBB.setup, Styles.file, mods.file and forums.cgi in ASCII/Text mode to your CGI directory. [This is a manual setting on your FTP software]
Make sure spelling and case are correct: UltBB.setup not ultbb.setup.
Here is the message returned from UBB:
(Maybe you didn't strip carriage returns after a network transfer?)I've checked the files in question and they're fine, even uploaded a number of other times, so as you can tell I'm baffled. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
CHMOD values etc all all fine too, everything so far with regards to the installation has been by the book.
