I have two UBB's (both 5.47b) that behave differently with the moderator notification procedure. One works and one doesn't. I can't figure out how to fix the one that doesn't work. All settings in the control panel are the same for both UBBs. Does anyone know where I should look to find the source of this problem?

It is difficult, if not completely impossible to properly diagnose most UBB problems without knowing which version of the UBB you are using, as well as the EXACT URL to your Ultimate.cgi, (NOT a link to your webpage). Please provide this information. Thanks. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Charles,

The version is 5.47b, as I noted in my first posting. Both the UBB where the moderator notification is working and the one where it isn't have exactly the same URL until the final folder name where the Ultimate.cgi file is located. (So the problem I'm having can't be related to the URL, I think.) Both the working UBB and the malfunctionling one are under my "cgi-bin" which is at the "htdocs" level on the server. Do you need any additional information about the URL?

Thanks for your help!

Lynn: The point is that we need to actually look at the UBBs in question so we can see if there is anything immediately wrong with them. Please post the URLs.

Charles,

O.k., sure. Here's the URL for the UBB where moderator notification DOESN'T work:
http://161.58.152.252/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb7274fm/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

And here's the URL for the one where it's fine:
http://directext.net/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb5035pb/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

A suggestion for fixing this problem will be much appreciated!

Are they both on the same server? Which mail method is being used?

Yes, they're both on the same server -- no subdomains. (One of the URLs simply has the IP address for the server.) The mail method for both is SendMail.

By the way, the one that's working o.k. is version 5.40. The one that isn't working is 5.47b.
