Figured this would be cool; since we have image processing, could we have the public email display push out the "real" email as an image? Then we can have users specify if they wish their email to be displayed and if they say yes we'll get an image of their email address vs yet another field they can meddle with.

interesting - of course they could probably still be read in the same was as captchas can be read unless obscured.

Could this image processing also be used to resize attachments in posts? or is that being done now?

I believe there is a resize option with GD2 and ImageMagick, but that's kind of out of scope for this thread  ... interesting - of course they could probably still be read in the same was as captchas can be read unless obscured. but obscurifing is fun! Plus you could have an editor add in "[nospam]" to replace @ and . in the image; or [at] and [dot]
