MCIO 8i (Mini CoolEdge IO) adapter to 2 M.2 Gen5 NVMe SSD slots. Allows you to add M.2 SSDs from an available MCIO port on the motherboard. The module uses Gen5 compliant connectors and ultra-low loss PCBs.

Compatibility:
The plate has 2 M.2 connectors (75 pin M key, PCIe x4) for M2 SSD format 2230/2242/2260/2280 or 22110.
Each SSD is connected to a PCIe Gen 5.0 x4 host interface (i.e. an authorized throughput of 16GB per M2 port). 
To be used connected to a motherboard whose BIOS must support PCIe bifurcation mode.
