Let made it clear:

In threads 6.5 exists the css class lighttable, newlighttable and darktable, newdarktable.
In Threads7 we have only alt-1 and alt-2

This class was used for new unread postings in the posting list. You can setup the table cell weith it to give the whole line in postlist wich contains new postings an other look. This made it easy to see new postings. Now in Threads7 we have only the icon in front of it.
