Well, if that's the typical stats, then it's not MySQL at all. From that line it's taking less than a second to run all of the queries, but it's taking close to 6 seconds to run the php code to process them. That looks more like a general server slowdown.
If it's MySQL related as your host stated then you'd see the second number taking up most of the time.
