I've noticed my forum site seems to be loading pretty slow the last couple of days. I emailed my hosting provider and they had me run a 'tracert' on it. They sent me back the following reply:
"We are unable to duplicate the issue that you have presented us. Sorry for any inconvenience. The trace route indicates your connection is reaching our servers. The speed issue appears to be related to the application your website is running. It is recommended that you optimize the database in your hosting account to improve load speeds. You can find a tool/application for optimizing your MySQL database by doing a search on any search engine."
Is there anything on my end that could be slowing things down? I just launched the site a few weeks ago. Why would I need to optimize the database? Thanks.
