Okay just had a brain fart. There was a photo album hack at one time for classic and it worked quite well.
I will have to mull on it a bit. I recall the person was in canada. Something like Bill Bobbit.
Okay I found the post and it looks like the hack may still be there.
His name was Mike Bobbit and you can visit one of his posts at UBBDEV
HERE I used this for quite some time and it worked very well but it is a little complicated to get up and running as I recall.
