UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums General Suggestions and Feedback UBB.thread Default Style - my opinion

Hi,

I am not a UBB.thread users (I use Eve), but may purchase it early next month. One thing I don't really like about UBB.thread is the default style. To be honest, it look very messy and not as professional as other Infopop products or other PHP message board as well.

I understand that I can change the style by myself, but I guess at least Infopop should make the general layout more clean and easy to use....

Infopop doesn't currently have plans to change the style. Originally, I wanted UBB.threads to use a UBB.classic style template. But now I realize that the UBB.threads template is better for the product it is (a threaded discussion board). I really thought thu UBB.threads 5.x series had style problems. but in 6.0, 6.2, and 6.4 is where the UBB.threads style really improved.

I have came up with ideas for a UBB.threads 7.0 interface. The interface is a cross between UBB.threads and eve. Click here to see my ideas.

In another thread you suggested that the threaded view should have a scroll bar and I'm gonna test out the idea for the next version of Facelift.

I'll also look into removing any icons like the notify mod icon if the hyperlink is inactive.
