Hi.. i am attempting to upgrade to ubb threads 6.5 from the last 6.4x version that was available.. can anyone give me some idea what went wrong? I successfully got through the install php process or so it was indicated that i did... Help

Have you got any current errors? Did you get any error messages during the upgrade? What is the current state of the forums? Do you have a link? Are you able to return to your database backup and try again?

I tried to reinstall using via the web browser ...install.php but it still doesn't work.. according to the install utility all six steps were a "GO" but the forums still don't work...

It appears that the database was not modified properly hence the board software cannot read one of the tables. I would suggest that you carefully look the upgrade and redo it.

One friendly suggestion: remove the install.php file from your .threads installation folder and close the Indexes directive from your Apache. You don't want people to see what you have in your web server - might cause security breaches.

hi. i submitted a support ticket and the problems were resolved. apparently i did the install .php and not the upgrade .php as i was upgrading from 6.4.2 to 6.5
