UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums Resources and Customizing How Do I? MySQL 5.6 upgrade to 5.7

Hi, an upgrade question to secure the forums MySQL

I run my forum on a VPS linux server and MySQL version is 5.6 and its only valid to feb 2021
The back up I use is set up as incremental meaning it only does backup on the data that has been changed.

I see in WHM control panel MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade (Step 1 of 6)
first step is to choose version 5.7 and click next..

I wonder what I should think of when upgrading to 5.7 except closing the forum and do back up.

I think I'll issue a ticket and ask the host to do it so I wonder what I should ask them to do.

Sorry if this is not a direct UBB question but I think that you guys have done this and knows how the forum can be affected or not..
