MySQL Version: 5.6.49
PHP Version: 5.6.40
Isaac, I guess that the question in your reply is from someone who wish to start using a UBB forum software, I already use one and wish to upgrade the MySQL database so my question needs to be different to the host.
This is what I am thinking of now but I would be happy if I could have it reviewed and possibly suggestions of changes.

Hello IS support: I run a website forum currently using MySQL 5.6.49 which is near to its end of life and I wish to upgrade to MySQL version 5.7
Can you please help me to do the upgrade ? Or give me instruktions how to?
When/if you do will there be any changes in or will all paths, username, passhord etc be the same?
1, Before you start please alert me so I can close our forum first!
2, after my ok for you to go a head please make full backup for disaster recovery before you begin?
3, Please inform me when the upgrade is successfully finished so I can reopen the forum and test it.
I understand if I can't get more help here and if that is the case do you know of any other forums where i can ask?
