We're going to upgrade our forums on Friday night, and I'm wondering if there are any gotchas with the upgrade routine. Giz, I read your thread about the proper upgrade routine, but I have a couple of questions.
1. Somebody mentioned something about being careful to not overwrite image files (graelins and posting icons and stock avatars). How do I avoid doing that?
2. Does the upgrade overwrite my style sheet? Last time we upgraded, the style sheet was overwritten, and I got an error every time I tried to import the backup style sheet I had. I'd hate to do all that manually again.
3. We have several mods. Would it be a bad idea to apply the mods before running the upgrade?
I'm very nervous about this. But it's a great release, so I'll be brave.
