Can you explain this please?

I've just installed Ubuntu on an old PC.
I've installed apache as well.

I've configured it so that instead of reading the default apache website it goes to /home/driv/public_html

Now I guess I should put the cgi-bin in /home/driv/? (which is above the root???)

OR should I do something like

/home/driv/public_html/www/
and
/home/driv/public_html/cgi-bin

in which case, how do I 'map' it properly?
