There isn't any coding at all involved in this upgrade. It is really quite simple.
As the instructions indicate, you simply plunk the files into their location and run the upgrade utility. The upgrade utility does everything for you automatically. It's quick and easy.
I just upgraded three UBB installations and it took maybe 10 minutes top for the upgrade part.
