Yep, I'm in "general" agreement with everything said... I wish that I could say "I'm from Missouri" ha... (you know, the SHOW ME state.)

A couple of years ago, I did an upgrade and ended up wiping out ALL of my previous language changes. Didn't discover it for about a week or so... Then spent WAY TOO MUCH time trying to reverse analyze it...

I swore that I'd NEVER get caught in that situation again.

So this time, I'm diving into the instructions like never before... and guess what? -- They are terrible.

So rather than complain, I've begun rewriting them. I have my first draft done. Now I'm trying to add the SPECIFICS of the actions... So please don't take my questions as negative -- but rather just RESEARCH.

Question 1: If the two selectons give you results ONE and THREE in my diagram -- then why would you EVER select ONE for an upgrade? Why wouldn't you ALWAYS want to select THREE?????

With no changes -- ONE gives you an ERROR message...
and if you correctly make all of the manual changes -- ONE gives you the exact same result as THREE does.

So, again, why not ALWAYS select THREE for an UPGRADE??
