Okay, it sounds like a plan.
To get my thoughts straight -- Are you in favor of listing two different set of instructions? One for INSTALL and one for UPDATE?
I know it sounds a little redundant - but MIXING instructions for DIFFERENT actions into the same paragraph is one of the things that gets people confused - and - it slows down the comprehension of the subject.
In this day and age, can't we "afford" to have PERSONALIZED, or TAILORED, instructions for each activity?
I guess that you can see what my preference would be.
I know that it makes future corrections/updates to the instructions a little more work - but who are we serving? The reader or the editor? >double
