I took a peek for him.
First his database is around 5gb.
90k+ user rows but the user_groups table only has 70k+ rows
all of the questioned users in the log I checked have no group what so ever assigned except for one member that is subscribed to two groups but the default group is not checked.
In fact in member management you have to use the member id # to find them.
The logs are huge but I did not find anything other than more of the same error.
also there is a odd file in the includes folder I question him on. ad.inc.php, it showed in the permissions check.
But I did not find it in the html includes or custom islands so far.
No so sure a table repair will work here, Since there are way to few rows in the user_group table. But ????
I asked if he has any type of backup, waiting on a reply.
Yep Giz I think that it was operator error. They manually move the custom registration group members to the normal user group after a few post for spam security .. Good guess.
