There really should be a different topic just for this, as I really don't like cluttering this one with this discussion. So, this will be my last post regarding the defense of the sale, and the way the business was run.

For almost 15 years it's been a one man show, with some help here and there along the way. Even when Infopop had it, I was still the lone developer. That fact was never hidden. Also, I put more hours, by far, into UBB than I did in my day job, so it certainly wasn't treated as a hobby. Support has always been there, development has always been there. Version 8 was a huge undertaking with some setbacks along the way.

If I was into stringing people along and deceiving people, then I'd have just kept UBB while moving to the new job. I wanted what was best for UBB and the customers that have stuck with the product for years.
