Long hard story Giz but you can probably relate. My Wife uses a company supplied laptop with Vista. They locked down the laptop so it took me quite some time to change our desktop to make it look just like her laptop. Even if I put a dual boot system in, the startup will not look the same for her to login. So hence it is what it is. I don't really have a problem with it but I just like the warm fuzzy feeling with XP instead of Vista. So I like my old box in the barn better because it is setup the way I like it. Just way to slow sometimes. Especially when a virus scan is running like now.
