I'm just curious now as to how UK people are accepted in the USA.
I mean, I know Catherine Zeta Jones' accent from old - and she sounds so odd now speaking with a US accent. Does it sound natural to you guys? Or an affectation?
How about Hugh Lawrie in 'House'? I like this programme, but is his accent convincing to a US audience? (Having heard many US accents on TV, I find it one of the oddest - to my ears.)
